• Jesus Christ is alive and present to all who seek Him. He can be experienced individually as the Light of Christ within and corporately as His Presence in the midst where two or three gather in His NAME.

• When the living Christ is present to those who seek and listen to Him, He is actively present. He is known by what He does, as a Prophet who teaches us, and as a Leader who guides and watches over His people as a group. When we are open to His guiding light within and among us, He shows us what is right and what is wrong.

• He gives us the power to obey Him and do what is right.

• He brings His followers into a joyful fellowship of disciples who help each other to worship, learn, and obey together. When obedience to God's will leads to suffering, He helps His people to be faithful and endure.

When this Gospel is preached, those who receive it come together in the name of Jesus. They wait in expectant worship to hear their Prophet and Teacher speak to them. Empowered by Him, they bear witness by words and actions to His truth throughout the world.
